Engineered for abrasive environments, our wear-resistant piston rods undergo a two-stage surface treatment: induction hardening (depth 1-2 mm, 58-62 HRC) followed by micro-cracked hard chrome plating (20-25μm). This combination provides an abrasion resistance 5 times greater than standard rods, with a wear rate <0.05 mm/10,000 cycles. The hardened layer resists scoring from contaminants, while the chrome plating forms a corrosion barrier. Ideal for construction equipment (excavators, loaders), agricultural machinery, and mining vehicles, these rods maintain performance in dusty, sandy, and corrosive conditions. We offer specialized coatings like tungsten carbide (WC-Co) for extreme wear applications. Contact us for wear test comparisons or view our rod durability case studies.
