Our multi-stage hydraulic cylinders feature 2-9 nested stages for maximum stroke efficiency in compact retracted dimensions. The stages are constructed from chrome-plated cold-drawn steel (hardness 55-60 HRC) with PTFE-impregnated wear rings to reduce friction. A sequential extension design with flow restrictors ensures smooth operation, while the largest stage bears the primary load to minimize stress on smaller stages. With pressure ratings up to 30 MPa, these cylinders are used in dump truck beds (180° tipping angle), aerial work platforms (40-meter elevation), and agricultural harvesters. The integral overload protection valve (set at 125% of rated pressure) prevents stage overextension, and the wiper seals (double-lip design) exclude contaminants.
