Tianjin Uranus' heavy-duty hydraulic rotary actuator for steel mills features a rugged design with heat-resistant materials. The housing is constructed from alloy steel (42CrMo4) capable of withstanding 300°C, while the drive mechanism uses tungsten carbide-coated gears (hardness ≥1,300 HV) for abrasion resistance. With torque outputs up to 200,000 N·m, it drives continuous casting turntables, rolling mill guides, and furnace doors. A water-cooling jacket (flow rate 15 L/min) maintains operating temperature below 80°C, and the sealing system resists ingress of molten metal splatter. The actuator undergoes 1,000-hour high-temperature endurance testing. Contact us for steel mill application case studies or view load testing results at [https://www.uranustj.com/].
